How It Started

Jaworski, a native of Poland and a physician by profession, discovered his passion for art in the 1990s. Despite having no formal art education, he honed his skills through workshops in the United States and abroad, developing a signature style that emphasizes form, light, and texture. His favorite medium, oil, allows him to bring his subjects to life with a richness and depth that resonates with viewers.

“For me, painting people in their everyday environments captures the essence of their stories,” Jaworski shares. “I want my work to evoke narratives that connect with the viewer on a deeper level.”

Jaworski has earned multiple accolades for his work, including awards from the Morgantown Art Association and Exhibit 60. As a member of the  Portrait Society of America, his passion for portraying the human form and spirit is evident in every piece.

His paintings were featured in two solo exhibits at Monongalia Arts Center, Morgantown. “Classic and Contemporary Brush Strokes” in May, 2014 and “Faces from Around the World“ in March, 2025.
